Enjoying Fall Indoors Too!

For this year's fall decor, I opted for warm and vibrant hues like yellows, reds, and oranges, while incorporating cool blues and browns to create a calming effect and make the decorations stand out! I thought at first it may be too much but matched with the earth tones of the backdrop of greys and greens, it worked beautifully and looked authentically. Design needs to stay adventurous and fun. I always say try it, and change it if you don't like it. I believe living in a place that has four season's is inspiring for us to change as well.
I believe that a home can be transformed with the seasons to reflect the changing outdoor atmosphere, fostering a sense of continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces.
However, you don't need to make extensive changes to achieve this effect.
I focus on three seasons, updating key pictures or centerpieces three times a year, along with a few mats, blankets, hand towels, and perhaps some candles. This approach gives me the desired effect, and you can achieve the same!
Once you make these changes, you can store the items for future use, making it a cost-effective solution.
**Tips:**
1. Purchase items off-season at discounted prices or create your own (like clay pumpkins or apples). You can also find second-hand treasures online or at antique shops, garage sales, or flea markets.
2. Maximize the use of baskets, plates, dishes, flower pots, and vases by simply changing what you place inside them.
3. Stores like Dollar Store, Walmart, and Michael's are excellent for gathering pieces to create cohesive designs. Collect enough to repeat patterns, such as groupings of orange, blue, yellow, and red flowers, red apples, and acorns across your chosen dishes and baskets.
4. For evening ambiance, consider adding battery-operated candles to your decor groupings.
5. Incorporating black and white elements and fresh greens can enhance your decor!
6. Tie everything together with a front door mat, wreaths, and a few decorative pillows or blankets, and voilà!

OUTDOOR FRONT PORCH
This year, I opted for a more subtle approach with the fall decorations, focusing less on critters and gourds. Instead, I enhanced the front door with a new doormat and a cheerful "Happy Fall" sign.
